Acro Staff

Carlos has always been interested in working with unusual props and tries to develop artistically through different objects. In this course, in 2017 he had a fiber-glass pole made and began to develop techniques to establish it as a circus discipline. In 2019, he was allowed to premiere the newly developed act at the Berlin Circus Festival. Since then, the Acro Staff number has become a permanent part of his repertoire and, thanks to the low technical effort, is performed on large and small stages as often as his other acts.

Carlos's work with the staff evolved into his own first theatrical production in 2021. He created the 30-minute solo piece together with choreographer Chris Jäger with support from the Fonds Darstellende Künste. The show will celebrate its premiere on Aug. 27, 2021, at the Pfefferberg Theater in Berlin. For more information, please visit: www.machenwirhierfürnocheinewebsite?.com
